Hope for All Nations: How We Live the Love of Jesus

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations…” – Matthew 24:14

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when we hear about what’s happening across the world—conflict, division, suffering. But there’s a deeper reality that gives us hope: Jesus is King over all nations, and His love is for every tribe, language, people, and tongue.

So what does it look like to bring hope to all nations? And how can we, right here where we live, reflect the love of Jesus in a way that has global impact?

1. Start with the Nations Around You

You don’t have to board a plane to share Jesus with the world. Many of us live, work, and go to school alongside people from all different nations and backgrounds.

✔️ Learn someone’s story.
✔️ Invite them to dinner.
✔️ Ask questions.
✔️ Be a listener before being a talker.

2. Live as a Witness

Hope doesn’t need a spotlight—it just needs a vessel. When we live with purpose, peace, and kindness, we point people to Jesus.

📖 1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.”

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be real.

3. Pray Globally, Act Locally

Prayer is not passive. When we pray for the nations, we align our hearts with God’s.

Try this:

🌍 Pick a different nation each week to pray for.
🧍‍♂️ Support domestic or global missions.
🙋‍♀️ Ask God: “How do You want me to be part of what You’re doing in the world?”
